For nearly three decades Dave has dedicated himself to convincing as many people as possible that “life is good, eternity is better, get ready for both.” Whether speaking on marriage, evolution, or values, he consistently engages people through the use of stories and illustrations and connects them with Jesus Christ. He is challenging, aggressive, compassionate, pragmatic, humorous, and thought-provoking. His captivating style has an appeal for people of all ages. Sometimes you laugh, sometimes you cry, but rarely does anyone react indifferently to his messages. Almost everyone walks away with tools to make radical improvements in their relationships, spiritual life, finances, emotional and physical health and well-being, and professional life.
Although Dave has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature and a Master’s degree in Theology, his ultimate desire is to “ignite the heart, not inflate the head.” His messages have inspired thousands of people with such popular series as: Love For a Lifetime, Someone’s Trying to Make a Monkey Out of You, From Rut to Recovery, Why Can’t You Be Normal…Like Me?, and Islam – In Your Face.
A native Californian, Dave and his wife, Sonya, and their three grown children currently reside in La Quinta, California. They enjoy life in all its fullness, whether it is exploring the depths of the Pacific Ocean, riding Harleys through the Southern California deserts and mountains, or horse back riding. In addition to filling the role of teaching pastor for New Community Church (www.newcommunitycv.com) in Indio, California, Dave serves as the founder and President for Moore on Life.
But Dave’s greatest joy is connecting and interacting with people. While his speaking engagements take place in for-profit and nonprofit organizations and corporations, Dave’s energetic style is well received--wherever the venue is.
